Only publicly shared Facebook videos can be downloaded. Videos set to Friends Only, Private, or Groups are not accessible externally.
Use the full video URL
Navigate to the video post directly and copy the URL from your browser address bar. Avoid using URLs from the Facebook app share sheet as they may resolve incorrectly.
Facebook Reels and Stories
Facebook Reels may work if they are public. Stories expire after 24 hours and may not be available.
